Warranty

Kenyon Plastering provides a limited warranty for its work against defective workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of completion.  If a defect covered by this limited warranty occurs, e.g., stucco cracks exceeding 1/8” in width or causing water damage, Kenyon Plastering will repair or replace the defective workmanship or material within the warranty period at no charge.  To obtain service under this limited warranty, written notice must be provided to Kenyon Plastering identifying the original work performed and the nature of the problem.  Such written notice shall be given to the Kenyon Plastering location that performed the work.

This limited warranty does not include: (1) Items that have been subjected to accident, misuse, and abuse including damage resulting from lack of maintenance or damage from ordinary wear and tear; (2) Items that have been modified, damaged, altered or worked on by anyone other than Kenyon Plastering; (3) Items furnished by others for installation; (4) Existing items that are moved or reinstalled; and (5) Deviations that commonly arise such as minor cracking (1/8” or less in width), minor stress fractures due to drying lumber (1/8” or less in width), warping, shirking and deflection of wood, and/or discoloration of any surface due to exposure to weather and sunlight.

Under no circumstances shall Kenyon Plastering be liable for injury to any person or damage to any property whatsoever by virtue of this limited warranty or otherwise.  Under no circumstances shall Kenyon Plastering be liable for any incidental, secondary, indirect, consequential, special or other damages of any nature arising out of the use of or inability to use as a result of a defect in the work performed or the materials installed by Kenyon.  This limited warranty provides specific legal rights, and may include other rights that vary from state to state.
